POSITION SUMMARY:Realityworks, Inc. is seeking a Marketing Intern to support marketing activities and product development. This intern will work in various areas of the marketing department including design work, event planning and digital campaigns. The primary responsibility will be working on design and layout of corporate and product projects as part of a cross-functional team.Internships at Realityworks are ideal for individuals looking to experience a different challenge each day, see the inner workings of a growing company, and embrace a higher level of responsibility and accountability. We are looking for individuals who take pride in their work and have the energy and desire to make a significant impact in a small, fast-growing company.LENGTH OF INTERNSHIP:This is a 6-month internship, which will begin in May 2023 and continue through December 2023. The work schedule is flexible between the hours of 8am - 5pm, Monday through Friday. The internship requires a minimum of 12 hours per week during the semester and 30 hours per week in the summer months. This is a hybrid position, splitting time between working at a home office and working onsite at the corporate office in Eau Claire, WI.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Assists marketing team with curriculum development projects, such as designing new product printed workbooks and related program materialsPerforms layout and design of corporate communications, such as newsletters and event postersAssists in planning of events and tradeshows by sorting product and promotional materials, determining signage and booth layouts, and packing shipping casesSupports team with research on marketing campaigns, competitor advertising, and morePhotographs and edits photos for use in product marketing and curriculum materialsAssists marketing and product management staff in marketing duties/tasksPerforms other additional duties as assigned or requiredKNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:Strong skills in page design, layout, and typographyKnowledge of current design stylesExcellent written and verbal communication skillsExcellent organizational, planning and follow-up skillsHigh degree of creative abilityAbility to manage priorities and workflowAbility to work both individually and as part of a cross-functional teamAbility to work in both Mac and PC environmentsAbility to effectively present information in written, verbal, and presentation formREQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:Actively enrolled in a degree program focused on marketing, graphic design, communications, or related fieldProficient with Adobe Creative Suite, including InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop and Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPointPhotography experience preferredABOUT REALITYWORKS, INC.: Realityworks is a 100% employee-owned company.
