If you're looking for a job to love, apply today.Scheduled Weekly Hours:40We are looking for a motivated and passionate individual to join our Vision Services Team!The Vision Supervisor/Education Coordinator is responsible for coordinating and managing all staff competency and training for Ophthalmology & Optometry and supervision of staff in Onalaska Vision Departments.The position will work with the Administrative Clinical Operations Director of Vision Services and the department Clinical Managers in this effort.What is available:$2,500 Sign-On BonusWork 40 hours each weekMonday - Friday, no weekends or holidaysLocation : Gundersen Eye Clinic OnalaskaHave the opportunity to travel to other Gundersen optical locationsProvide a quality optical experience to our patients and guestsWhat you will get:Great work/life balance!On the job trainingAccess to our Career Development CenterGenerous 401K match and base contribution!Tuition Investment ProgramWhat you will need:High school diploma or equivalency + Graduate of a two year Joint Commission on Allied Health Personnel in Ophthalmology (JCAHPO) accredited Ophthalmic Medical Technologist school ORCompletion of the independent study course for Certified Ophthalmic Technician (COT) or Ophthalmic Surgical Assistant (OSA) within 2 years of hire3-4 years working as an Ophthalmic Technician with an Ophthalmologist.Within 2 years of hire one of the following is required:Certified Ophthalmic Medical Technologist (COMT) certified by JCAHPO or Certified Ophthalmic Technician (COT) or Ophthalmic Surgical Assistant Certification (OSA) certified by JCAHPOGundersen Health System is healthcare for neighbors, by neighbors.
