Description LOOKING FOR A FUN, FLEXIBLE, & FULFILLING PART TIME JOB? THIS IS IT! No nights and no weekends! Summer hours: schedule is 12:30pm-5:30pm for Summer School Weeks . Monday -Friday 7:30am-5:30pm during Non Summer School weeks. Monday thru Friday Do you enjoy working with kids, being a role model, and creating fun experiences? As a Program Leader at the Boys & Girls Club, you’ll help lead activities, support our members, and make a positive impact every day. What You’ll Do: Lead and Inspire – Run games, activities, and programs that are fun, safe, and meaningful. Support Club Members – Build positive relationships and be a mentor for youth ages 6–18. Keep Things Moving – Help with daily club operations like setting up activities, supervising spaces, and keeping things organized. Model Great Behavior – Encourage positive choices and help manage behavior in a respectful, supportive way. Work as a Team – Collaborate with other staff, volunteers, and directors to keep the club running smoothly and make sure everyone feels welcome. What We’re Looking For: Friendly, energetic, and reliable team players. Comfortable leading groups of kids and being a positive role model. Interested in youth development, teaching, coaching, or community work. No experience required — just a willingness to learn, have fun, and support our mission! What you'll need : - Prior experience working with children is preferred but not required - Communicate effectively with children and families from diverse backgrounds. - Courteous and professional to all staff, club members, and families. - Motivate youth and manage behavior problems - Work with the general public - Organize and supervise club members in a safe environment - Must be able to pass a reference check and background check Summer Camp Counselor experience is really beneficial! Qualifications Qualifications: - Ability to be trained in First Aid/CPR - Prior experience working with children is preferred but not required - Communicate effectively with children and families from diverse backgrounds. - Courteous and professional to all staff, club members, and families. - Motivate youth and manage behavior problems - Work with the general public - Organize and supervise club members in a safe environment - Must be able to pass a reference check and background check Physical Requirements and Work Environment: - Standing or walking for up to 8 hours a day - Pushing or lifting of up to 50lbs - Ability to handle high noise levels for extended periods of time.
