Job Description:

RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Reliability Engineer is responsible for supporting factory to enable and deliver asset Maintenance according to the Company's Strategy (using TPM as the multi-disciplined approach to maintain/improve fixed assets, and AMM to manage their life cycle)
* Define, propose, and monitor Maintenance and Reliability plans and objectives in accordance with Engineering Policy, Key Principles, and the M&I Activity as outlines in Company's Engineering Excellence master document
* Guide factory to reduce technical stoppages in equipment or areas of common occurrence (priority given to areas of highest incidence or impact)
* Ensure the systematic review all line, processes, and utilities that are critical to the business and those where failure can have an unacceptable impact on safety, personnel safety, food safety, environment, or compliance with the law
* Update/Optimize Reliability Engineering tools and guidelines, to minimize unplanned and Planned Downtime, ensure a common approach, administration, and training
* Facilitate the evolution/refinement of Maintenance activities to minimize planned and unplanned downtime (PM's, changeovers, etc.)
* Ensure that the equipment history, damage code and root cause analysis are completed correctly and analysed regularly for trends
* Manage technical stores, scheduled Work Orders and equipment Bill of Material (BOM)
* Manages the spare parts warehouse to maintain critical spares, minimize necessary inventory and automate materials requisition function
* Monitor and report Key Productivity Indicators that evaluate the equipment by Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE), Mean Time Between Failure (MTBF) and Mean Time To Repair (MTTR) and use this information to proactively develop countermeasures and corrective actions
* Facilitate plant wide criticality analysis to include Failure Modes Effects Analysis (FMEA) activity and reliability data analysis
* Research, write, and publish maintenance department Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's), Preventative Maintenance work instructions (PM's), Safety Programs, etc
* Assist in updating the SAP CMMS database: Functional Location/Equipment, Asset specs, Maintenance Plans, Items, Task Lists, BOMs etc

REQUIREMENTS AND MINIMUM EDUCATION LEVEL:
--- Bachelors Degree in Engineering (Maintenance & Reliability, Mechanical, Electrical, Process, Chemical or equivalent) strongly preferred or equivalent work experience, relevant certifications (i.e., SMRP, CMRP) preferred
--- Minimum 5-7 years' experience in Engineering and/or Maintenance field in a Food/Dairy Industry, developing, leading, and executing proven maintenance reliability programs preferred
--- Knowledge, understanding, and passion for continuous improvement methodologies
--- Knowledge and understanding of the cost drivers of Maintenance in manufacturing operations
--- Knowledge of SAP PM & MM Module to mine and analyze data for trends/reports
--- Project Engineering/Management
--- TPM experience
* Proficient with SAP PM & MM modules, Microsoft Excel, Word, and Power Point
* Strong analytical, leadership, and communication (both written and verbal) skills
