Security Clearance Status: Not Required As a Product Manager for
the Engines and MEMS organization, for hardware production, you
will play a critical role in managing the end-to-end lifecycle of
physical hardware products, ensuring alignment with organizational
goals and industry-specific requirements. You will collaborate with
cross-functional teams to drive manufacturing efficiency, meet
operational goals, and deliver high-quality hardware solutions for
aerospace and defense applications. This position offers
opportunities to lead strategic initiatives, optimize production
processes, and address complex challenges in hardware manufacturing
and supply chain management. What YOU Will Do: Leadership and
Proactive Problem Resolution: Lead PMT initiatives to drive
proactive problem-solving across the product line. Collaborate with
cross-functional teams to address challenges such as resource
allocation, yield improvements, and on-time delivery (OTD) issues.
Act as a key point of contact to ensure timely resolution.
Proactively identify and resolve issues related to manufacturing
processes, assembly, and quality control. Strategic Planning and
Execution: Drive strategic planning efforts, including the
development of technology programs focused on hardware production
advancements. Monitor product line strategies and metrics, such as
production schedules, inventory reduction, and cycle times, to
ensure operational goals are achieved. Continuous Improvement and
Efficiency: Guide continuous improvement initiatives to optimize
manufacturing processes, enhance yield, and reduce scrap and
rework. Collaborate with production teams to improve efficiency,
reduce costs, and maintain high-quality standards in hardware
production. Partner with supply chain teams to ensure timely
availability of materials and components for production readiness.
Identify opportunities for process enhancements and foster a
culture of excellence, safety and quality. Business Growth and
Development: Review and present plans, progress reports, and
proposals related to the business aspects of the product line.
Develop and execute new product line strategies to ensure
capabilities required match market timing, Support business
development efforts, including proposals, budgets, and contracts
Product Lifecycle Management: Direct all phases of the product
lifecycle, from inception through completion, ensuring successful
outcomes at each stage. Customer and Stakeholder Engagement: Act as
a liaison between customers, internal teams, and stakeholders to
ensure customer satisfaction and alignment with business
objectives. What You Will Learn: Advanced skills in managing
hardware production operations, manufacturing processes, and supply
chain optimization. Best practices in hardware lifecycle management
and continuous improvement methodologies. Techniques for addressing
production challenges, such as yield improvements, OTD issues, and
resource allocation. Strategies for growing hardware product lines
and driving profitability in aerospace and defense markets.
Insights into delivering high-quality, industry-compliant hardware
solutions while balancing cost, efficiency, and customer
satisfaction. Qualifications You Must Have: Typically requires a
University Degree and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience or
an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of
experience Strong analytical, organizational, and leadership
experience with a focus on hardware production and manufacturing.
Experience in managing product lifecycles, continuous improvement
efforts, and/or supply chain coordination for physical products.
Qualifications We Prefer: Excellent communication and presentation
skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
Ability to drive strategic initiatives and collaborate with
cross-functional teams in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

107,500 USD - 204,500 USD. The salary range provided is a good
faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX
