Description:We are hiring a full time (1.0 FTE) Manager, Revenue Cycle to join our Clinic teams!NorthLakes' Manager, Revenue Cycle is directly responsible for the integrity and stewardship of the revenue cycle. The Revenue Cycle Manager develops, implements and maintains all functions of the Patient Financial Services Department, understanding that these functions are both integral to smooth financial operations and the maintenance of patient trust and provision of services. The position requires great team management skills as well as the ability to problem solve. Manager, Revenue Cycle duties include but are not limited to:Oversee the Patient Financial Services Department that maintain patient accounts, communication with insurance, collections, contracts, cash posting, billing transactions with clients, coding and report creation.Develops and implements accounts receivable goals and priorities relating to billing management.Develops, implements and maintains workflows across teams and within the electronic health recordLead regular staff meetings to promote teamwork, sustain an aligned and energized work force, promote communication, and provide team directionMonitors accounts sent for collection and reimbursements from insurance companies and other third party payers and researches variances.Keeps abreast of all reimbursement billing procedures and compliance needs of third party insurance payers.Works with outside accounting and management consulting firms in preparation of financial statements and audits related to patient accounts.Supervises the inpatient and outpatient charge posting, billing, and collection operation to insure consistent application, interpretation, and implementation of policies and procedures.Plans, develops, and implements an in-service education program for assigned staff.Plans work schedules and assigns work to staff to ensure adequate service and coverage.Helps to prepare and adhere to the annual department budget.Prepares reports, statistics, and surveys related to billings, collections, and reimbursements.Maintains compliance with all policies, regulations and laws in regards to billing, insurance, and employee management.Occasional travel to different sites is a regular part of this position.THIS IS A GREAT OPPORTUNITY if you are looking to make a difference in your community.
