Job Description:

Overview and Responsibilities The Director of Enrollment Services provides leadership for College Enrollment Services functions including; admissions, records and registration, veteran services, financial aid, and scheduling. This position also interacts with students, staff, and community partners on matters related to enrollment services and assures the college has comprehensive enrollment services and meets state and regulatory requirements. This is a leadership position reporting directly to the Vice President of Student Services. Responsibilities: Design and launch enrollment strategies to meet full-time equivalency (FTE) growth goals in collaboration with Instructional leadership. Embody commitment to student experience excellence. Direct and manage the development and implementation of admissions and matriculation systems. Oversee student records (registrar function) to ensure student enrollment, transfer, etc. Ensure adoption and implementation of software, and enterprise systems that provide efficient operations of enrollment management functions. Oversee process improvement initiatives for Enrollment Services. Provide leadership and oversight to all enrollment services teams, functions and systems; admission, records and registration, veteran services, financial aid, and scheduling. Manage Enrollment Services staff, including the selection and performance monitoring. Manage and oversee all departmental budgets. Facilitate the preparation of and monitor all enrollment management budgets to comply with the College fiscal plan. Communicate and collaborate with cross functional college teams on college-wide initiatives. Represent College at statewide Enrollment Service meetings and serve on related committees. Ensure policies and procedures (related to Enrollment Services) are created, maintained, and communicated/trained. Analyze and interpret rules, regulations, and laws which may impact the College's enrollment services function. Provide enrollment management resources to assist in the accomplishment of College goals and targets. Serve as a resource person for departments/committees addressing enrollment services. Keep senior administrative staff and College community informed of enrollment service issues. Develop all enrollment management personnel in accordance with CVTC staff development model. Conduct annual performance evaluation of all management staff in enrollment services. Act as an independent review and evaluation body to ensure compliance issues/concerns within the organization are being appropriately evaluated, investigated, and resolved. Lead special projects as assigned. Promote excellence through continuous process improvement and the creative pursuit of new ideas, partnerships, and systems. Assist in seeking outside resources through grant acquisitions and CVTC Foundation fundraising. Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to interpret and explain information to a variety of persons and groups. Ability to work effectively in a team environment as well as the ability to work independently toward organizational goals. Ability to use judgment, discretion, and decision making skills in dealing with confidential and sensitive issues. Ability to resolve conflicts. Ability to interpret and communicate College policies and procedures. Ability to work a flexible schedule and travel to various campuses. Ability to utilize technology and report-writing tools to enhance productivity and communication. Ability to manage projects focused on timelines, project deliverables, etc. Ability to model integrity through self-awareness, personal accountability, ethical behavior, quality standards, and sustainable practices. Ability to think critically by applying problem solving practices, acquiring relevant information, using technology and other resources appropriately, and evaluating alternatives. Ability to communicate effectively by speaking and writing clearly, concisely, and professionally; practicing active listening; reading critically and adapting communication for audience. Ability to value diversity by recognizing personal biases, adapting to culturally diverse situations, and demonstrating a commitment to equity, inclusion, and respectful interactions with persons of diverse ethnic, cultural, social-economic, or educational backgrounds. Advanced knowledge of and skills with technology including software programs for communication, data collection, and decision making including, but not limited to, Microsoft Office Outlook, Word, and Excel. Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in business-related field. Masters in Business-related preferred. Minimum of two years' experience in a student services area to include knowledge of records & registration, admissions, financial aid, information service center or scheduling. Minimum of three years of supervisory experience in related area. Direct experience with student information enterprise system. Project management experience with large-scale projects. Experience in a postsecondary educational setting preferred. Experience with continuous process improvement preferred.
