Position: Certified Nursing Assistant Shift: 6am - 6pm Status: Full-Time or Part-Time The Dove's Nest is our distinct 'recreation suite' or day program. Our mission is to provide a caring, nurturing atmosphere to enhance the lives of our residents living with dementia. Daily programming and meals take place in a quiet, small-group environment, which is conducive to their unique needs. Participation in the Dove's Nest program has shown to reduce falls and behavioral concerns and residents with introverted personalities have become more involved in activities. As a Certified Nursing Assistant in the Dove's Nest day program, you will be an important member on our team helping residents with their physical, social, and emotional needs, while providing a safe, comfortable, and home-like environment. Preferred Skills: Previous experience in dementia care is desired, but not required. Required Qualifications: - Current certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant in the State of Wisconsin. - Individuals who have successfully completed a 120-hour training program and are waiting to complete the state exam are encouraged to apply. - If you are a CNA/NAR from another state and need to take the Wisconsin Bridge Course, please email ***************************** for upcoming classes.
