JOB DESCRIPTIONAs a clinic assistant at Westfields Hospital & Clinic, you are responsible for a variety of patient care duties and other related duties in the clinical setting that include documentation of medical information, administration of medications/vaccinations and treatments, as well as obtaining medical histories, vital signs, etc.The clinic assistant assists the healthcare providers in the timely delivery of services per physician/RN direction and according to Clinic policies and procedures.All programs and activities are designed to support the short- and long-term mission, vision, goals, and objectives of Westfields Hospital & Clinic.Work Schedule:1.0 FTE/40 hours per week. Day/evening shifts (Varying Hours Monday through Thursday 7AM-7PM, Friday 7am-5pm, occasional Saturdays 8am-12pm)Required Qualifications:High School diploma/equivalent.Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program (current certification as a MA preferred), current LPN licensure in the State of Wisconsin, or graduate of an accredited EMT program.Current CPR certification required within 6 months of hire and maintained while employed.Preferred Qualifications:Experience in EPIC computer systemBenefits:At Westfields Hospital & Clinic, we believe in providing our employees with exceptional benefits to help you thrive in your work.
