Job Title: Interventional Radiology Technologist Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: Interventional Radiology Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 hours (08:30 - 17:00) Experience: Minimum of 1 year in specialty required License: Valid state license preferred Certifications: BLS and ARRT required Must-Have: Experience in inpatient, operating room, ER, and interventional radiology; certified in Epic/Excellian Description: The position requires performing interventional radiology procedures. Daily caseload per technologist is 9 cases. On-call duties are required as necessary, with an average of 0-4 assignments per month. Floating to meet facility needs is not required. Candidates should have experience with X-ray procedures including extremities, abdomen/GI, spine/pelvis, head, chest/thorax, and both upper and lower extremities. Experience with interventional, angiography, and special procedures including stents, angioplasty, angiograms, nephograms, drainages, and vascular studies is required. Candidates should possess skills in venous access and neurological studies. This is a short-term acute care facility with a total of 672 staffed beds. Scrubs are provided by the unit. Candidates must complete required modules prior to the position start. References are required for submission. Travelers must comply with the background check procedures, including fingerprinting requirements. Candidates are responsible for communicating any vacation plans during the period between signing and the start date.
