Job Description Job Quick Facts: - Specialty: Cardiothoracic Surgery - Job Type: Locum Tenens - Facility Location: Marshfield, WI - Service Setting: Inpatient/Outpatient - Reason For Coverage: Supplemental - Coverage Period: Dec 22-27, 2023 - Coverage Type: Clinical Call - Shift/Call Schedule: 24-hr Shifts; 7a-7a - Call Type: Beeper - Call Response Time: 15 mins - Call Ratio: 1:1 - Patient Volume: 8-10 (both IP/OP) - Admissions Required: Yes - Rounding Included: Yes - Support Staff: 1 MA, 3 NP/PAs, 1 Office Staff - Required Procedures:      - General CV/thoracic surgery, Coronary artery bypass surgery      - Congenital defects (ASD, VSD, PFO, etc)      - Valvular and Aneurysm repair, Chest wall or pleural procedures      - Permanent pacemaker placement, AICD (Automatic Internal Cardiac Defibrillator), Left ventricular assist devices      - TAVR, CABG, Vent Management, Bronchoscopy      - Eval. and mgmt of acute vol/BP issues      - Insertion of (Central line, Arterial line, PA Catheter & IABP)      - General Vascular surgery, Aneurysm repair - aorto-abdominal, Bypass procedures - aorto-femoral/iliac, Endarterectomy, Subclavian steal procedures. - Trauma Level: II - EMR: Cerner - Other Info:      - Required to Supervise APPs      - May see a few office patients during the day.    - Locum will be the only surgeon on site - Hospital Privileges required: Yes - Temporary Privileges available: Yes - Travel, lodging, and malpractice insurance covered Requirements: - Active WI License or IMLC - BC/BE - ACLS, BLS
