Job Description:
Infectious Disease opening in WisconsinLocated in Eau Claire,
WIFull-Time & PermanentSeeking a BE/BC Infectious Disease doctor to
join hospital. Provide patient care in the clinic and hospital
settings and also provide physician support for the Infectious
Control and Prevention and Antimicrobial Stewardship programs. In
the hospital practice, provide consultations/follow ups for a large
variety of infections: endocarditis, orthopedic infections,
HIV/AIDS, pneumonias, zoonotic diseases, complicated soft tissue
infections, endemic mycoses, tick-borne diseases, minority of
transplant-related infections. In the clinic practice, see patients
for post-hospital follow ups, travel clinic, referrals from other
physicians and e-consults to connected Critical Care Access
hospitals. Location:Eau Claire, with a metro area of 161,000 is
home to the 11,000 students at the University of Wisconsin Eau
Claire. Strong schools, low crime rate, and a reasonable cost of
living may be expected. City serves as the retail center for west
central Wisconsin and the major metro area of Minneapolis/St. Paul
is 90 minutes away.
