Job Description:
Lutheran Social Services of Wisconsin and Upper Michigan (LSS)
seeks a dedicated Licensed Counselor to enhance our expansive suite
of community-oriented services. This position will focus on
delivering high-quality counseling services to individuals and
groups to promote optimum mental and emotional health. You may
address issues such as substance abuse, aging, bullying, anger
management, careers, depression, relationships, LGBTQ issues, and
self-image. Join our team of compassionate professionals in a
supportive and collaborative environment dedicated to the mission
of healing. Assess client needs and develop personalized treatment
plans. Conduct individual, family, and group counseling sessions.
Maintain confidential client records and provide timely
documentation of therapy sessions. Collaborate with other
healthcare professionals to plan or coordinate treatment, drawing
on social work experience and patient needs. Offer crisis
intervention and emergency shelter services. Facilitate workshops
or group sessions. Stay informed of the latest industry trends,
techniques, and best practices. Strong interpersonal and
communication skills Ability to remain empathetic yet professional
Crisis management and intervention aptitude Proficiency in
treatment planning and patient care Comfortable using clinical
software and tools Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision
Insurance Life Insurance 401k Valid state counseling license
Certified Clinical Mental Health Counselor (CCMHC) preferred
