Job Description:

dedicated Pharmacist to join our dynamic healthcare team in the
pharmacy department of our stores. As part of Walmart, you will
play a crucial role in providing comprehensive pharmaceutical
services to a diverse community, ensuring the safe and accurate
dispensing of medications and health advisories. This position

healthcare. Verify prescription orders and dispense medications
accurately. Provide pharmacological information by answering
questions and requests of health care professionals; counseling
patients on drug therapies. Develop pharmacological knowledge by
participating in clinical programs and reading professional
publications. Ensure legal compliance by adhering to state and
federal drug laws as regulated by the state board of pharmacy, the
drug enforcement administration, and the food and drug
administration. Maintain a safe and clean working environment by
complying with procedures, rules, and regulations. Enhance
pharmacological knowledge by attending educational workshops,
reviewing professional publications, and participating in
professional societies. Manage pharmacy staff by recruiting,
selecting, orienting, and training employees. Strong analytical and
decision-making skills. Exceptional customer service and counseling
abilities. Deep understanding of drug administration and health &
safety guidelines. Proficient in pharmacy information systems and
comfortable with technology. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance
Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Must hold a current and valid
Pharmacist license. Certified Immunization Pharmacist (CIP)
certification preferred. Experience with medication therapy
management and patient care process.
