Registered Nurse (RN) | Interventional Radiology Location: Minneapolis, MN Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,701 per week Shift Information: Days - 4 days x 10 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 2/2/2026 About the Position TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Interventional Radiology RN in Minneapolis, Minnesota, 55407! Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Interventional Radiology Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Day 4x10-Hour Hours per Shift: 10 Experience: Minimum of 1 Year Required License: Valid State License Preferred Certifications: ACLS, BLS Must-Have: - Epic Charting Experience - Moderate Sedation Experience Description: Position/Specialty: Registered Nurse in Radiology procedures. Responsibilities include Interventional Radiology, CT, MRI, and Ultrasound. Pre/Post (Phase 2 Recovery) nursing care will be provided. The registered nurse will monitor patients during procedures. Patient ratios are 1:5. First-time travelers are accepted. Weekend requirements are not applicable. On-call duties may be required as needed. Floating to different departments is not expected. The role does not accommodate block scheduling. Candidates within a 100-mile radius are not accepted unless specified. Candidates with pending licenses may be considered. Requests for time off should ideally not exceed five days. Specialized nursing duties include preparation and recovery of procedural patients. Moderate sedation will be administered for Interventional Radiology cases. Both inpatient and outpatient care will be provided. Monitoring pacemaker patients during MRI procedures is a requirement. Anxiolytics will be administered for exams and medication administration for nuclear medicine patients. Anesthesia will be offered to select patients. Procedure involvement includes biopsies, tube placements, and various interventions. Special equipment such as ceiling lifts and monitors will be utilized. Collaboration with interdisciplinary teams including IV, respiratory, and pharmacy services is essential. Daily census averages around 40 patients.
