Locum Tenens Opportunity: Internal Medicine - Hematology and Oncology Are you a skilled Physician specializing in Internal Medicine with a focus on Hematology and Oncology? We are currently seeking a dedicated individual to join our team for a locum tenens position near Boyd, WI. Position Details Specialty: Internal Medicine - Hematology and Oncology Start Date: ASAP End Date: Ongoing Shift: Scheduled Clinical Hours Plus Call Allowed Holidays: Labor Day, New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Christmas Day, 4th of July, Christmas Eve (1/2 Day Commencing at Noon), Thanksgiving Day Job Responsibilities Provide comprehensive cancer care services to patients with a focus on Hematology and Oncology Participate in a 1:3 call rotation, including weekends and holidays Conduct outreach to neighboring clinics as required Perform bone marrow biopsies and other necessary procedures Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to ensure the highest quality of patient care Practice Setting EMR System: Cerner Coverage Type: Scheduled Clinic Hours Call Practice Setting: Inpatient, Outpatient Patients Per Shift: 25-30 Bed In Department: Not Applicable Rounding: Not Applicable Qualifications Provider Type: Physician Board Certification: Eligible, Fellowship Required Certifications Required: ACLS, ATLS, BLS Licensing: No license requirement to bid Credentialing Timeframe: Estimated 60 days if clean file Practice Details Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Provider Team: 2 MDs and 3 NPs (2 NPs are in their 1st year of practice) Service Offerings: Radiation oncology services available Patient Care: Ambulatory and hospital consultations Facility Features: 18 Chemo infusion chairs and 2 non-chemo infusion chairs Bone Marrow Biopsies: Required How to Apply If you are interested in this locum tenens opportunity in Internal Medicine - Hematology and Oncology, please reference job ID j-219386 when applying.
