Job Description Job Description Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1 year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Provide occupational therapy services in a school setting, supporting students from kindergarten through 8th grade. This is a contract position located in Eden Prairie, MN, offering a part-time schedule of 20 hours per week. Key Responsibilities: Deliver individualized occupational therapy interventions tailored to the developmental needs of students aged kindergarten to 8th grade. Assess and evaluate students' motor, sensory, and functional skills to develop appropriate therapy goals. Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and other educational staff to integrate therapeutic strategies within the school environment. Maintain accurate documentation of student progress, create reports, and participate in team meetings. Manage a caseload of approximately 18 students, ensuring timely and effective therapy services. Qualifications and Experience: Licensed Occupational Therapist with experience in school-based settings. Strong understanding of pediatric therapy practices, particularly for early childhood through middle school populations. Ability to plan and implement interventions that promote students independence and participation in academic and daily activities. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Commitment to working collaboratively with educators and families to support student success. Schedule and Duration: Part-time, 20 hours per week. Contract position starting as soon as possible and ending June 5, 2026.
