This contract position is ideal for registered nurses with recent progressive care unit (PCU) experience who also have ICU expertise. The role involves delivering high-quality patient care with opportunities to float across several critical units, including ICU, Medical-Surgical, and Telemetry, enhancing clinical skills and variety in daily responsibilities. Key Qualifications: Active Minnesota RN license At least 2 years recent PCU experience Experience in ICU care is essential Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications Flexibility to float between PCU, ICU, Med Surg, and Tele units as required Location:Situated in the vibrant city of Burnsville, MN, this facility provides access to a suburban community known for its excellent amenities, parks, and cultural activities, offering a balanced lifestyle alongside professional nursing opportunities. Responsibilities: Deliver compassionate, patient-centered nursing care in a step-down unit with occasional critical care support in ICU Monitor patient condition and respond promptly to changes in status Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement care plans Maintain compliance with established nursing standards and facility policies Schedule and Hours: Rotating day and night shifts 12-hour shifts 36 hours per week Additional Details: Weekend and holiday shifts as needed Maximum 7 days of required return to office (RTO) This contract position offers a chance to build expertise in a supportive environment while making a significant impact on patient care.
