Title Provider/Staff Recruiter- Human Resources- Western, WI Description Job Description and Essential Functions Job Title/Position: Recruiter Job Classification: Administrative/Professional Support Date of Analysis: Date of Revision/Review: __________________________________________________________________________________________ Brief Description of Job Responsibilities: Serve as the Primary Recruiter (Physicians, Providers and Staff) for Prevea`s Western region. Specialized Responsibilities: (This list may not include all of the duties assigned)

  • Develop and maintain working knowledge of the health system and regional communities to assist with candidate inquiries
  • Work with department leaders and others to gather information regarding open positions to develop awareness of department needs and to create position profiles
  • Develop and implement successful strategies for recruitment of targeted physicians, advanced practice providers and staff; coordinate selection and attendance of national and local medical conferences with the recruitment team to meet established goals
  • Participate in open hire committee meetings and serve as the primary back up for the Manager of Employment
  • Prepare recruitment metrics reports, summaries and presentations
  • Maintain a current open list of position openings; provide monthly updates to leadership; maintain a weekly status list of all candidates on active searches
  • Execute all aspects of the recruitment process in accordance federal and state fair employment laws and regulations in addition to following established recruitment processes, protocols, procedures and established timelines
  • Serve as the primary contact for candidates throughout the recruitment process, including screening, scheduling of phone interviews, scheduling and facilitating the on-site visit for candidates and their spouses/significant others
  • Perform phone screens of potential candidates for behavioral and cultural fit then submit to respective hiring manager or leader for consideration/advancement of interview process
  • Assist with candidate interviews/site visits as follows:
    • Provide tours of facilities and local area
    • Provide support in scheduling itineraries
    • Provide support in coordinating provider travel & housing arrangements
    • Provide support in coordinating distribution and collection of internal and external candidate evaluation forms
    • Extend employment offers and coordinate pre-employment physicals following the successful completion of reference and background checks consistent with established workflows
    • Inform hiring manages and leaders of any significant developments/changes that impact the hiring of the position (delays, lack of candidates, declined offers etc.)
    • Work with leadership and marketing team to develop a high impact, local career website
    • As a member of the recruitment team, engage collaboratively in continuous system and recruiting/sourcing process improvement strategies
    • Provide assistance when needed with the Locum Tenens candidate process and assignments for Western region
    • Maintain working knowledge of Waiver and Visa Process and assist immigration attorney through the process for obtaining both Waiver and Visa approvals
    • Maintain working knowledge of physician contracts and contract process
    • Assists with obtaining the documentation necessary for the credentialing process
    • Work closely with the physician recruitment department at partner Hospitals and notify clinic directors and appropriate supervisory staff of new providers joining Prevea
    • Work closely with the provider relations department in notifying clinic directors and appropriate supervisory staff of new providers joining Prevea
      • Prepare and send all new hire correspondences (New Hire emails, New Hire letter, etc)
        • Facilitate orientation in Western, WI and Assist new hires with the new hire paperwork process
        • Assist with the coordination of physician relocation as needed
        • Enhance professional growth and development through attendance at educational conferences
        • Assist with annual recruitment events
        • Support and comply with department and clinic policies, procedures, objectives, quality assurance, safety, and environmental and infection control Performance Requirements: Excellent organizational skills. Excellent communication skills. Ability to juggle several different tasks while remaining calm and professional. Ability to be tactful and discreet when dealing with confidential information. Ability to complete tasks on time with little supervision. Ability to be a self-starter and use their initiative. Strong knowledge of organization policies, procedures, systems. Knowledge of health care administration practices. Strong knowledge of computer systems and applications. Excellent command of English grammar, spelling and punctuation. Knowledge of basic arithmetic to make calculations, balance and reconcile figures. Strong skills in written and verbal communication. Ability to gather and report information. Strong customer service skills with the ability to work effectively with all levels of staff, patients, public, external agencies and particularly senior management. Ability to be flexible and adaptable. Ability to exercise initiative, problem solving, decision making. Flexibility needed in work schedule. Will be times when extra hours are required. Familiarity with medical terminology required. Education/Experience/Certifications: Bachelor`s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field preferred. Recruitment experience preferred. Three years experience in a healthcare setting working with Medical Staff preferred. Solid communication and management skills required. Previous word processing and personal computer experience. Knowledge of general office functions and data entry procedures. Ability to work independently in a professional manner and work well with a variety of people. Excellent communication and organizational skills. Obtain AASPR (Associate of Staff Physician Recruiters) status by end of year one in position. Typical Working Conditions: Majority of work is performed in an office environment. Travel required to various clinical sites as well as conferences in various states. Involves frequent contact with senior management staff, physician shareholders and the public. Frequent telephone contacts with employees and patients. Work may be stressful at times. Interaction with others is constant and interruptive. Some travel between clinic sites may be necessary. Typical Physical Demands: Requires prolonged sitting, some bending, stooping and stretching. Requires eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity sufficient to operate a keyboard, photocopier, telephone, calculator and other office equipment. Requires normal range of hearing and eyesight to record, prepare and communicate appropriate reports. Requires lifting papers or boxes up to 50 pounds occasionally. Requires dexterity to type 60wpm. May be necessary to view and type on computer screens for long periods.
