Comp Attorney Position Overview We are seeking a dedicated and
knowledgeable Workers Compensation Attorney to join our legal team.
The ideal candidate will represent clients in workers' compensation
claims, ensuring they receive the benefits they are entitled to.
This position requires a strong understanding of employment law and
a passion for advocating for the rights of injured workers. Key
Responsibilities - Represent clients in workers' compensation
claims and legal proceedings. - Conduct thorough legal research to
support case strategies and client representation. - Negotiate
settlements with insurance companies and opposing counsel. - Manage
a diverse caseload, ensuring timely and effective case progression.
- Draft and review legal documents, including petitions, briefs,
and settlement agreements. - Prepare cases for trial, including
gathering evidence and witness preparation. - Provide clients with
clear and concise legal advice regarding their rights and options.
- Stay updated on relevant laws and regulations impacting workers'
compensation. Qualifications - Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an
accredited law school. - Active license to practice law in the
relevant state. - Minimum of 3 years of experience in workers'
compensation law or related fields. - Strong legal research and
litigation skills. - Excellent negotiation and client
representation abilities. - Proficient in case management and legal
documentation processes. - Familiarity with medical terminology and
its relevance in workers' compensation cases. - Knowledge of
