pride in making sure that raw materials and good coming into the
plant are up to our standards and are what we ordered. You've got
at least 12-18 months experience in a food processing or quality
control environment. You're looking forward to a new position with

months)Attention to Detail: Completes inspections of all incoming
ingredients, labels, and packaging goods. Takes pride in accuracy
and only accepting products that meet our specifications.Make it
Better: A well-designed, well-managed incoming goods approval
process is essential in assuring the location's successful
implementation of BRC Quality Systems. You look for ways to improve
on what we're doing to streamline processes and improve day-to-day
operations.Safety & Accuracy: Follows all safety and sanitization
procedures, and ensures scales are calibrated and
accurate.Communication: Effectively and efficiently ensures that
others are made aware of pertinent information verbally and in
writing. All records and logs are accurate and legible. Understands
the importance of and seeks to keep everyone in the loop.Problem
Solver: Demonstrates good judgement and reasoning when
investigating and solving problems. Learns by asking and by doing,
applying those lessons to the job at hand.Flexible: Knows that we
can't predict everything, and adjusts workflow to the situation at
hand, which may mean performing new tasks outside of the prescribed
job description.Hours: 2:00 p.m. to 10:15 p.m. Monday through
Friday. Requirements:Required: High school diploma or
GED.Preferred: 1-2 years of experience in a food processing or
quality environment.Skills, Knowledge and AbilitiesFamiliar with
all basic aspects of quality control.Needs to have strong attention
to detail.Must have ability to understand and interface with
production operations.Must read and write English at high school
level.Must have strong computer skillsPhysical, Mental and Visual
SkillsSitting, standing, walking, bending, stooping, climbing over
obstacles.Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.Must hear well enough to
converse on telephone, must see well enough to read reports.Working
ConditionsNormal manufacturing environment. Production line,
indoors, noisy, wet/slippery floors at times. Potential exposure to
equipment movement, chemical/solvent/ingredient hazards if proper
