Join America's premier steel bridge fabricator for a three-day work week! 5am to 5pm Friday, Saturday and Sunday shift, $26-34/hr depending on experience and certifications, and no travel!Veritas Steel's employees have been building America's bridges with American-made steel for more than 100 years. We specialize in complex bridges of all shapes and sizes. Whether arches, cable-stayed, suspension, bascule, or plate girders, we build it. • Ensuring quality procedures and customer requirements are complied with and documented
• Participating in continuous improvement activities in our fabrication and quality management processes
• Working alongside and learning from some of the most skilled steel fabricators in the country
• Inspecting materials, welds, bolts, coatings, and more for compliance with customer requirements
• Performing and/or learning magnetic particle testing, dye penetrant testing, and ultrasonic testing
• Maintaining a clean, organized work area and professional working relationship with customer representatives
• Actively participating in the safety program, contributing to a positive safety culture
• Lifting and moving heavy items safely - 50+lbsWhat you will bring with you:

  • 1+ years of recent quality control experience in a manufacturing setting
  • Current American Welding Society Certified Welding Inspector required
  • MT, PT and/or UT experience preferred
  • SSPC BCI or NACE CIP certification preferred
  • Proficiency using inspection instruments, tape measures (standard and metric), and basic survey equipment
  • High school diploma or GED PI186749922
