Job Description Packaging/Utility I - Stanley, WIJob Summary- Under limited supervision, performs various duties in the on the packaging line and across the plant.
The duties may vary by day and hour, may vary based on assignment.Essential Job FunctionsEnsure food safety and qualityOperate mill and package materialsClean and refill dust collectorsWash and sanitize floors, dryers and all production equipmentHelp on dryer startupAssemble hammer millsSetup and tear down of production equipmentAssemble tape machine and scalesMove ingredients to and from warehouseAccurate documentation of daily productionDump totes into millsCollect samples for quality testingWork toward the goals and expectations of the plant and this positionQualificationsTo be considered for this opportunity, candidates must meet the following criteria:Commitment to ADM's goal of achieving a zero injury culture; understand and follow company safety proceduresExhibit regular and prompt attendanceLearn and exhibit safe forklift operationAble to meet physical requirements of the position including, but not limited to: prolonged periods of standing and sitting, working in confined spaces and from heights, bending, kneeling, climbing stairs and ladders, working in a variety of conditions (heat, cold, dust, etc.) and lift up to 55 lbs unassistedMaintain accurate record keepingWilling to work any shift and overtime if necessaryDemonstrate initiative to work independently while flexible enough to work in a team setting when neededExhibit a professional image at all times; maintain a positive and respectful attitudeAny other duties as assignedMinimum Job RequirementsSpecial SkillsCommunication SkillsDocumentation SkillsCertifications and Licenses Required - Forklift and Scissor LiftWorking ConditionsHumidity: 90% to 30%Due to the wide variety of tasks, this job can be exposed to a variety of environmental conditionsSpecial Hazards: mechanical, electrical, chemicalWork overtime as necessary, including some weekendsProtective Clothing Required: Hardhats, earplugs, safety glasses, steel-toed shoes, gloves, chemical and rain suitsPhysical RequirementsFrequently move up to 50 lbs.SitStandMove from area to areaRemove refuse from grounds and department floorsTransport raw materials & chemicals to equipment from storage areasPosition self to conduct work at various heightsRotate bodyOperate forklifts and scissors liftsAscend/descend from various levelsAdjust valves and dials as instructedRepetitive use of handsADM requires the successful completion of a background check.
