POSITION SUMMARY:Reporting to the CEO, the Contract
Manufacturing Manager is responsible for managing business
activities of the Company's contract manufacturing relationships
for existing and new products to meet the Company's quality, cost,
delivery, and service goals that support the growth of the
business. This individual will help to identify and onboard new
contract manufacturers that expand manufacturing prowess or
engineering capabilities in areas of need, eliminate manufacturing
risk or provide supply line redundancy, and reduce cash utilization
in the general business activities of the Company. This position is
responsible for setting and managing 12-month rolling manufacturing
plans with all contract manufacturers that align with the
anticipated Company needs.The Contract Manufacturing Manager will
oversee all activities related to the procurement of raw materials
to meet the production plan, ensure quality control evaluations are
completed during and post-manufacturing, and manage the logistics
activities of goods produced. In addition, this position will
manage inventory levels of goods stored for use at various
warehouses.The position is a key influencer in the Company and
plays a key role on the Company's Operations Team that directs and
leads the Company.Realityworks is based out of Eau Claire, WI.
Full-time remote work or a hybrid work arrangement is available for
the selected candidate.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develops and sets manufacturing and purchasing plans for
Company goods to meet projected sales needs
- Coordinates with senior leadership on the Company's
manufacturing plan to ensure agreement while collaborating to set
budgetary needs and cash flow requirements of the plan
- Awards manufacturing and purchasing contracts within budgetary
limitations and consistent with cost, quality, and delivery
requirements
- Manages and directs the business relationship with various
contract manufacturers, navigating issues and negotiating solutions
to ensure efficient and cost-effective production efforts that meet
the manufacturing plan
- Manages risk associated with procurement of raw materials to
meet the Company's manufacturing plan
- Ensures quality control approval of all manufactured goods
before goods are released for shipment from factories
- Manages the logistics activities of goods moving from factory
to warehouse
- Manages the amount of cash required for warehouse inventory to
mitigate risk of product availability while minimizing cash
consumption
- Manages the trust and collaboration among contract
manufacturers and engages in strategic planning, partnerships, and
business negotiations where value is created for the Company
- Develops sourcing strategy for improved value and supply chain
optimization while minimizing costs and decreasing geopolitical and
logistics and raw material risks
- Completes purchase requests with domestic and international
partners by inputting purchase orders, expediting deliveries, and
verifying all transactions
- Ensures SA8000 compliance of key contract manufacturing
partners through annual audits
- Analyzes market conditions to assess present and future
material availability, manufacturing, and logistics threats and
develops mitigation plans accordingly
- Maintains and reports product cost metrics; seeks and manages
quarterly cost optimization assessments and leads cross-functional
efforts to achieve identified efficiencies
- Conducts frequent business reviews with contract manufacturers
and manages all aspects of the relationship
- Develops and manages MRP processes and ensures information in
the Company's ERP is maintained accurately
- Defines techniques to enhance the contract manufacturer
management program processes and tools and leads the creation of
initiatives
- Performs other additional duties as assigned or

- Oversees buyer support staffKNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
- Strong knowledge of contract manufacturing operations with
demonstrated problem-solving and leadership skills in such an
environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the
ability to interface and influence at all organizational
levels
- Ability to react to the needs of others in a professional and
timely manner, often in a fast-paced environment
- Strong strategic and tactical planning and organizing
skills
- Strong analytical skills to assess situations and drive
decision making

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, engineering,
business administration, operations management, or equivalent work
experience
- 5+ years of experience working primarily with sourcing,
manufacturing, operations, or other supply chain role
- Demonstrated experience and understanding of operations
planning
- Experience working in a global manufacturing operations
management role, vetting, and working with international
partners
- Leadership, program management, and experience working with
cross-functional teams
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
and working knowledge of ERP systems, such as NetSuiteDESIRED
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 10+ years of global sourcing experience of low volume, low-cost
contract manufacturing operationsWORK ENVIRONMENT:The work
