  • Calculate the amount of materials needed for home construction
  • Prepare material quotes and communicate to customer (Salesperson or Directly)
  • Proactive follow-up with customer to assure completeness of estimate
  • Assist customer throughout the purchase, acting as the customer's primary sales contact
  • Regularly review actual versus estimated materials on completion of projects to assure accuracy
  • Work on sales/hardware counter as assignedWe want you to build your career with us! Can you check all of these boxes?Estimator Requirements:
    • Experience. 2 or more years of construction and building materials related experience.
    • Special Skills. Ability to read blueprints and other technical materials.
    • Knowledge. Previous building supply knowledge. (Preferred).
    • Special Knowledge. Understanding of measurements and basic math principles.
    • Communication. Excellent interpersonal and customer relation skills (Required).
    • Education. High School Diploma or Equivalent.
    • Physical Demands. Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and up to 50 lbs on a random basis.
    • Teamwork. Ability to work as a team and help motivate others.
