SUMMARY:Multi-skilled individual with primary responsibility for
facilitating (and performing) root cause analysis of technical
issues affecting line efficiencies and driving action plans against
key technical downtime causes. In a proactive manner, lead the
maintenance teams in execution of both planned and reactive
maintenance work, including leading the coordination and execution
of technical PM's and daily preventative maintenance. Must work
with Engineers and Maintenance Planners to ensure optimal PM
content and execution intervals for production equipment. Must be
able to lead skilled tradesmen and participate in maintenance
activities in a hands-on fashion. PRIMARY RESPONSIBLITIES:Provide
leadership, development, and support to team members under the
guidance of the Nestle Management and Leadership Principles.
- Evaluate training needs to ensure that mechanics are properly
equipped to perform their jobs
- Review and document team member's daily timecards, attendance
records and provide input for team member performance
evaluations
- Ensure compliance with preventative and predictive maintenance,
on time completion and regular reviews & updating PM Task while
working with Planners for optimized PM's
- Daily and weekly alignment with Production and maintenance
planners for PM Planning and scheduling cycles
- Provide inputs for development of annual budgets for
maintenance and engineering and ensure compliance with it.
- Develop and participate in production efficiency improvements
utilizing problem solving tools
- Participates in Nestle Continuous Excellence (NCE) tasks such
as Shift Hand Over (SHO) meetings, Daily Operational Review (DOR)
meetings, Go-See-Think-Do (GSTD) problem solving, Breakdown
Analysis (BDA), Engineering DMAIC's and White Belt Projects.
Reviews key performance indicators for daily performance.
- Participate as a core member of TPM-PM Pillar and NCE Teams,
owning Systems and Tools
- Responsible for Spares parts availability & review on weekly,
monthly, and annual basis with Slow Moving inventory process
- Work closely with all Maintenance, Engineering, Safety,
Production, Quality, all support functional groups and supervise
outside contractors and field service technicians.
- Write work orders, coordinate P.O.'s and estimates.
Communication and coordination with Vendors for spares and after
sale support for maintenance
- Participate and supervise the factory's Emergency Response Team
during shift. Actively participate in safety and loss control
initiatives.
- Maintain compliance with regulations and refer to the Safety &
Environmental Management System(s) on all related procedures and
programs.REQUIREMENTS AND MINIMUM EDUCATION LEVEL:Required:
- Technical Diploma in electromechanical or related engineering
field with 5 years of maintenance experience or Associates Degree
in electromechanical or related engineering field with 3 years of
maintenance experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field with 1-2
years of maintenance supervisory role preferredSKILLS:
- Experience with automation systems for process controls
preferred
- Allen Bradley Control Logix PLC's are standard on site
- Experience in a food or pharmaceutical manufacturing
environment preferred
- TPM experience preferred
- Demonstrated ability to lead and coach others
- Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel required; SAP-AMM
experience is preferred
- Knowledge of OSHA regulations preferred
- PLC maintenance, repair, troubleshooting skills, and Allen
Bradley systems knowledge are a plus
- Strong mechanical and electrical skills, especially electrical
systems up to 480V preferred
- Must demonstrate a continuous improvement mindset.
- Able to work off-shifts, weekends & extended shifts 237536It is
