Performance Foodservice is seeking a motivated and results-driven Sales Representative to join our dynamic team. As a leading distributor in the food and beverage industry, Performance Foodservice delivers a diverse range of over 150,000 products to various clientele including family-owned eateries and national restaurant chains. In this role, you will be pivotal in fostering strong relationships with existing customers while aggressively pursuing opportunities for new business, ensuring the achievement of sales targets and customer satisfaction. Manage and enhance relationships with existing company clients to ensure continued satisfaction and retention. Identify and target potential new clients, initiating contact and developing strategies to secure their business. Conduct market research and analysis to understand industry trends and customer needs. Prepare and deliver persuasive sales presentations to prospective and existing clients. Collaborate with the logistics and operations teams to ensure timely delivery of products. Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets. Participate in training and professional development opportunities to stay knowledgeable about industry trends and innovations. Strong interpersonal and communication skills Proven ability to negotiate and close deals Experience in CRM software and MS Office Strong analytical skills to identify market trends Ability to work independently and as part of a team Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Certified Sales Professional (CSP) preferred Food Handler's Certification is advantageous
