Specialist / ABA Therapy training and have a minimum 1 years
Behavior Therapy experience. Applicants who do not meet these
qualifications will not be considered. An opportunity is available
to provide specialized one-on-one support as an Intervener
Substitute in a first-grade elementary classroom. This six-week
leave coverage position begins March 2, 2026, and involves working
Monday through Friday during standard school-day hours. The role
focuses on assisting a student with dual sensory impairments by
implementing established routines, communication methods, and
individualized support plans to maintain continuity of services.
Key Responsibilities: - Deliver consistent, individualized support
tailored to the students sensory and accessibility needs -
Facilitate communication, orientation, mobility, and access to the
curriculum - Address sensory, environmental, and safety
considerations within the classroom setting - Collaborate
effectively with classroom teachers, related service providers, and
the Student Services team - Accurately document student
observations and progress in compliance with district requirements
- Ensure seamless continuation of services during the primary
interveners leave Qualifications and Experience: - Bachelors degree
required - Valid Short-Call Substitute License issued by PELSB -
Previous experience as an Intervener preferred, with familiarity
supporting students with sensory impairments (deafblindness
experience is a plus) - Proficiency in implementing communication
systems and sensory access strategies - Strong collaboration and
communication skills with educational team members Location: -

Compensation for this position ranges from $23.00 to $43.00.
