Join a dedicated surgical team providing orthopedic, general, podiatry, and cataract surgical care in scenic Viroqua, Wisconsin./n /n/nJob Details/n /n - Location: Viroqua, Wisconsin (54665) — Southwest Wisconsin travel nursing opportunity/n - Assignment Type: Travel RN / Travel Operating Room RN/n - Setting: Critical Access Hospital – 4 Operating Rooms (perioperative / surgical nursing)/n - Start Date: March 5, 2026/n - End Date: May 28, 2026/n - Duration: 12 weeks/n - Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week/n - Shift: 12-hour day shifts with staggered start times after 6:00 am/n - Call: Shared call, 5-6 days/month (20-minute response time required)/n - Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,020 - $2,130 per week/n /n/nJob Requirements/n /n - Active RN license (must meet facility/state requirements)/n - At least 1 year of recent Operating Room experience (perioperative / surgical nursing)/n - Current ACLS and PALS certifications/n - Ability to respond within 20 minutes when on call/n - Strong communication, teamwork, and clinical judgment skills/n /n/nResponsibilities/n /n - Function primarily as the Circulating RN in the Operating Room (perioperative role)/n - Assist with recovery care as needed and support surgical throughput/n - Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical techs to ensure safe, efficient procedures/n - Maintain a sterile environment and adhere to all infection control and safety protocols/n - Provide compassionate perioperative care and patient education before, during, and after surgery/n - Participate in shared call rotation and respond promptly when needed/n /n/n /n This travel RN opportunity is ideal for OR RNs, perioperative nurses, and surgical nurses seeking short-term assignments in Wisconsin.
